Murphy talked to the hosts of Ringside Report Radio, Dave Simon and Kevin "Big Tuna" McKough, about his upcoming bout, MMA career, his outside business ventures and much more.

Murphy is an undefeated mixed-martial artist who lives in Vermont but trains in Montreal with Zahabi MMA.

Ringside Report Podcast. February 24, 2010

Canadian mixed-martial artist Sarah Kaufman was interviewed on this broadcast to talk about her fight this Friday night to crown the first ever women's bantamweight champion in Strikeforce. Kaufman will compete for the title in the main event against Takayo Hashi in San Jose, California and will air live on the Showtime channel in the United States, SuperChannel in Canada.

Dave and Kevin reviewed UFC 110 and talked about the fallout from the card. They also discussed Frank Mir's recent comments about UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

Dave Simon and Kevin "Big Tuna" McKough also reviewed WWE's Elimination Chamber pay-per view, Monday night's Raw and the debut episode of WWE NXT. Dave and Kevin talked about the already booked matches for Wrestlemania and much more MMA and Pro Wrestling on this podcast.

Ringside Report Radio will return live to The Team 990 AM in Montreal, after the Olympics, on Wednesday March 3 at 10pm Eastern.

Ringside Report Podcast Series

Due to the Olympics on The Team 990 AM, Ringside Report Radio will not be heard this week or next. The show will resume regular scheduling as of March 3, 2010. In the meantime, Ringside Report delivers online only programs.

In this podcast, Dave Simon and Kevin "Big Tuna" McKough discuss the UFC's selection of Demian Maia as Anderson Silva's next opponent and whether or not he is the right man to face the UFC Middleweight champion. Dave and Kevin also talk about the last episode of WWE's ECW, WWE's new NXT program and give a review of this past Monday's edition of Raw.

Indiana-based MMA promotion, MMA Big Show is holding their next event this Saturday night and Ringside Report spoke to the main event of UFC veteran Jake O'Brien and Dave Hess. Undefeated welterweight Roger Bowles will also be fighting for MMA Big Show before making his Strikeforce debut. All three fighters are interviewed at the end of this podcast.

In this episode, Dave and Kevin talked about Vitor Belfort’s shoulder injury forcing him out of his bout with Anderson Silva at UFC 112 in April. They talked to Nate Marquardt’s strength and conditioning coach Jonathan Chaimberg who was in Las Vegas for Marquardt’s fight against Chael Sonnen at UFC 109. Chaimberg talked about the loss to Sonnen and the possibility of Marquardt fighting Silva in April.

“The Polish Experiment” Krzysztof Soszynski also appeared on the program to talk about his upcoming fight at UFC 110 against Stephan Bonnar, appearing in the new UFC video game and more.

Dave and Kevin discussed WWE ending the Survivor Series pay-per-view, Bret Hart’s latest Raw appearance and much more MMA and Pro Wrestling.
